Companies committed to SSE values generate inclusive growth, contributing to the development of sustainable economic models and innovative solutions in the face of modern economic, social, and environmental challenges. They are therefore actively involved in achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

We need to reinvent the way we tackle today’s challenges: climate change, migration, the fight against poverty, access to health care for all, the fight against inequality and exclusion, and the respect for fundamental rights. Our ambitions must be reconsidered on a global scale to reflect the urgency of our situation.

The SSE and the Inclusive Economy can be applied to a wide array of companies. These companies vary in size and corporate structure, and they operate in different contexts.

Together, they share the same values and common objectives. Their increasing visibility and visions for growth should be translated into concrete measures.

Today more than ever, it has become vital for us to forge a new path in which economic performance and social and environmental impacts are in harmony. Companies committed to the Social & Solidarity Economy and the Inclusive Economy can play a major role in accelerating this comprehensive transformation and in coming up with solutions for a better world.

Companies committed to Social and Solidarity Economy and Inclusive Economy are constantly coming up with innovative models to effectively identify a variety of social issues.

Social Entrepreneurship is an impactful model for the economy, society, and the environment. Starting at a local scale, this model should become a priority across society.

Indeed, regions and cities, among other actors, have become key sources of local development. They are vital to achieving the goals of Pact for Impact.

What is Pact for Impact?

Pact for Impact is a global alliance that brings together States, governments and local authorities, international institutions, with actors and networks of the Social Solidarity Economy (SSE) and Inclusive businesses. Its mission is to politically promote the issues related to the development of the Social Solidarity Economy (SSE) and the Inclusive Economy at the international level in response to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Pact for Impact approach is based on:

  • A gathering within a global coalition;
  • Thematic programmes giving rise to commitment proposals adapted to a type of organisation (States, international institutions, government and local authorities, associations, cooperatives, committed companies, etc.);
  • Regular events to measure the commitments made and their follow-up, and to encourage cooperation between the various actors;
