Pact for Impact : high patronage and G7 label!
It’s official: the first Pact for Impact Summit will be held under the high patronage of the President of the French Republic and the G7 label!
The President of the French Republic has given his high patronage to the event Pact for Impact to be held on July 10 and 11, welcoming the initiative of this ambitious new project and recalling the necessary and growing place of the Social and Solidarity Economy in a changing world: « I wish great success for the launch of this new Global Alliance for the Social and Inclusive Economy, which will not fail to promote the dynamism of this network, as the ambition of many projects supported by the ESS ecosystem. »
This first summit will gather delegations of States, international organizations, public and private actors of the Social and Inclusive Economy. Through their actions and their experiences, it is a question of creating a roadmap of concrete commitments and putting in a sustainable way, the ESS at the heart of the public policies and the initiatives of the countries and continents, all over the world. Pact for Impact has thus relied on the many exchanges and events previously led by the many ESS actors and state to bring them together around the same plea.
For its very first summit, Pact for Impact Summit – Paris 2019 has also obtained the G7 label. A label that fits perfectly into the approach of the July event since the meeting will be this year. Indeed, the French Presidency of the G7 has made the fight against inequality as its priority and the Social and Inclusive Economy is an indispensable response.
