Cabrita Miguel

Secretary of State of Employment, Ministry of Labour, Solidarity, and Social Security |PORTUGAL

Miguel Cabrita is the  Secretary of State for Employment of the XXIst Constitutional Government of Portugal since November 26, 2015.He is Sociologist and university lecturer at ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon, since 2001 at the School of Sociology and Public Policy. Lecturer on courses such as State and Public Policy, Social Policy and Contemporary Sociological Theories.  His PhD thesis research on personal decisions about having children. He was an advisor at Cabinet of the Minister of Labour and Social Solidarity (2005-2009), where he took over the coordination of the EU Portuguese Presidency (2nd semester 2007) for the Employment and Social Affairs field.
